Daddy's Hands

Only Daddy can put Audrey down for a nap.
Only Daddy can get Audrey out of a tantrum.
Only Daddy can put a huge smile on that face.
Only Daddy can play the guitar like a rock star.
Only Daddy can play the piano like a composer.
Only Daddy can make bath time so much more fun.
Only Daddy can have dinner waiting for Audrey by the time she gets home.
Only Daddy shares a bond with Audrey that no one else could comprehend.
I got so lucky because I married the right man to be the father of my daughter.  He is exactly everything I have ever dreamed of as a husband and as a Daddy to my baby.  I even love it when he's the one who is "right" and I'm wrong... I know, but it's fun to see him gloat on the rare occasion that he is right about something ;)

Audrey got Daddy a Keychain...

Mommy got Daddy a new car tonight, because the old key just wouldn't do the new keychain justice.

We had a great Father's Day.  It was spent with three incredible men. Audrey and Mommy made Daddy's favorite breakfast and we thought we were full for the day.  But... then we all got dolled up for lunch with Paw-Paw and the Hannon Clan.  And, then we had dinner with Papa and the Agnew Clan.  All that eating must have really wiped Audrey out because she slept great that night!  Audrey also got her Papa and Paw-Paw a t-shirt that say "Great Dads Get Promoted to Grandpa".  She sure does love the men in her life!

I read something recently that a Father is a Son's first Hero and Daughter's first Love.  Maybe Audrey's Daddy will be a Hero to a son someday too... it could happen.
